Item Conditions:

Why Not Bid strives to evaluate items accurately and categorizes them as follows:

"Brand New":

These items are unused and typically come in their original packaging. They are guaranteed for both functionality and completeness. Customers are strongly advised to inspect the item before leaving on pickup day to ensure functionality and completeness. If an item is found to be non-functional or incomplete upon pickup, the customer must report this to the warehouse before leaving or contact customersupport@whynotbid.com within 4 business days of the sale's end date. The item must be returned within 7 days of approval to qualify for a refund. Failure to report within the specified timeframe will void the refund eligibility.

"Appears New":

Items in this category appear to be in new condition but may not necessarily be in their original packaging. They are guaranteed only for completeness and not for functionality. Customers should thoroughly inspect these items before leaving on pickup day. While these items undergo a brief inspection to verify completeness, they are not guaranteed to function properly. If any pieces are missing, the customer must report this to the warehouse before departing or contact customersupport@whynotbid.com within 4 business days of the sale's end date. The item must be returned within 7 days of approval to qualify for a refund. Failure to report within the specified timeframe will void the refund eligibility.

"Open Box":

Open Box items vary in condition, ranging from great to used with minor scratches or incompleteness. These items may offer great value but are not guaranteed for functionality or completeness. They cannot be returned or refunded.

"Damaged":

These items have visible defects that impact functionality. They are not guaranteed for functionality or completeness and cannot be returned or refunded.

Refund Policy:

Why Not Bid aims to provide customers with flexibility in pricing. If an item needs to be returned and refunded:

  1. The customer must alert the warehouse before leaving on pickup day or contact customersupport@whynotbid.com within 4 business days of the sale's end date to receive approval for a refund. The item must be returned within 7 days of approval.

  2. Eligible items for return fall into the following categories:

    • Listing Error: Obvious errors in item titles may qualify for refunds.
    • Grading Error: Errors in grading for "Brand New" and "Appears New" items may qualify for refunds.

Partial refunds may be offered at the discretion of warehouse managers for items with minor defects. Customers are responsible for reporting any issues before leaving the premises or contacting customersupport@whynotbid.com within 4 business days of the sale's end date.

Failure to Pickup:

Items not picked up within the specified timeframe will be considered abandoned, and no shipping will be provided. It is the customer's responsibility to arrange for item pickup or designate a third party.

Pickup Day:

Customers have 7 business days after the sale ends to collect their items. All items must be picked up within this timeframe; otherwise, they will be forfeited. No shipping is available.

Upon Sale:

Credit cards will be automatically charged at the end of the sale. If a card is rejected, the item cannot be claimed until the invoice is paid. Customers must pick up their items within the provided timeframe; otherwise, the item will be forfeited.

Buy it Now:

The Buy it Now feature allows customers to purchase items immediately at a specified price, plus buyer's premium and applicable tax. Once selected, the item is marked as sold, and no further purchases can be made. Buy it Now items follow the same terms and conditions as other sale items. Sellers may adjust Buy it Now prices at their discretion before purchase.
